Inishowen EIP Farmers Leading the Way with Diverse Swards

Following several years successfully growing diverse swards and red clover in Inishowen, we are delighted to welcome the Government’s latest financial incentive to farmers nationally to grow multi-species swards. This initiative will result in lower nitrogen fertilizer inputs, have positive impacts on emissions and water quality as well as providing environmental benefits and improved biodiversity.
