Students from Bangor University, Wales visit Inishowen EIP Farms

We were delighted to welcome on a special visit to Inishowen this week a group of Agroforestry and Food Security MSc students from the University of Bangor, Wales.

The student group, led by Mark Rayment and Eefke Mollee, had a guided tour of the EIP participant farms of Boyd Bryce, Inch Island and James Breslin, Redcastle. The students learned about all of the EIP measures currently in place, including the role and benefits of agroforestry on the farms.

The group was accompanied by Henry O’ Donnell, EIP Project Manager and Steven Meyen, Forestry Development Officer, Teagasc.
